Migrate information

I currently have numerous variations of a custom description field across 3 projects, ( description field) that i want to reduce back to one variation. I know from previous if i 'deactivate' the custom field, it will remove any existing information held in that field. is there a way to migrate that information to a new field ?

As per my understanding, This very rare case So In Jira don't have any inbuilt function to achieve it.

If it necessary, you just need to do it manually.

If you are using the Jira cloud site then Atlassian team can give you the best solution, Please create a support ticket to Atlassian team.
