Trello Embed+ for Jira

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue with the "Trello Embed+ for Jira" plugin/app.

When I paste in the link for the trello task such as: https://trello.com/c/xxxxxxx

It gives me an error: "Trello.com refused to connect"
