Why does my JIRA description field not update on a confluence page after I make changes to the issue

Question

I inserted a JIRA issue (displaying the description field) into my confluence page and saved the page.

I went back into that issue, updated the description field and saved my changes.

When I went back to confluence and refreshed the page, the updates did not show.

What I am doing incorrectly?  I thought the macro would automatically pull the latest data in the description field and display it.

I have the same issue and it is 2023 now!

Hi @Joe Garcia Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I would recommend that you report this issue to your site administrator, who can log a ticket with the Cloud Support team who can check the log files and determine the reason as to why this is not working.
