Epic link as automation trigger

Dear all,

I'm trying to automate sub-task creation only for issues that are created, and afterwards linked to a parent "epic" of a specific name, and so far I'm unsuccesfull. Any hints from the community ?

There isn't an automation trigger for that yet, and the work-around is to use the change log.

• trigger: issue updated
• advanced compare condition: use the change log to see if the epic link changed
  • first value: {{#changelog.epic link}}{{toString}}{{/}}
  • condition: does not equal
  • second value: {{#changelog.epic link}}{{fromString}}{{/}}
• action: ...per your use case
