Unable to validate the script field during the transition

Script field added into the validator while moving the transition to closed however validation is not successful even after entering the sprint name or sprint value but still field validation says "Sprint" is required.

Need your help to validate the script field during the transition and any inputs would be appriciated.

Sprint probably should not be a scripted field, but that's not the important bit.

Scripted fields are updated after validation, not before.  Their "input", which a validator will look at is not taken from the person doing the transition, it is the value that was in there before you started the transition

It sounds like your validator is doing a simple "fail if Sprint is empty", so it's failing your transition because Sprint was empty when you started the transition.  It wouldn't have a value until after the transition has completed.

You should try validating the value(s) that the scripted field will use to calculate the new value of sprint at the end of the transition.
