Can't change reporter

Hi there

I've just set up a new environment and can't seem to change the reporter. It's a Service desk project. Oddly, we have a service management project for our general IT helpdesk, and I can change it there.

I'm the owner of the site so site/org administrator and I've checked the permission helper which says I have the Modify reporter permission

When I click the name next to "Reporter", nothing happens. It's not a clickable item, just a text label.

Not sure what's going on! Running in JSM Free version

when you say "permission helper" looks good I am wondering if the Reporter is on edit "Edit Screen" for the project in question?

Can you check if the user has the Browse users global permission ( Administration -> system -> global permissions). You can check if the user is part of the group that is in Browse users permission.

@Daniel Ebers you are a genius! I thought this was just a standard field so didn't think it needed adding to the edit screen. Adding it to the edit screen for this issue type resolved it - thank you!
