Default state for slack links in jira tickets

Often I need to post links to slack conversation to jira ticket description. Jira automatically convert the link I paste to slack conversation preview.
So I'm trying to figure out - is there a way to set the default state for this through the app settings to be just the raw links? 

Yes, I know that you can convert it from dropdown menu, but is there an option to set the default state for them?
It's a little bit tiring for me to choose  "display URL link only" every time.

If I understand correctly, you are using the new issue view in Jira Cloud and when pasting a link from slack into a description in Jira, you are wanting that link to just display as a URL.  However currently the new issue view is automatically formatting that link into a card instead.  While that can be switched into 'Display as URL', I understand your desire here is to not have to make that switch when adding this link.

Right now the in the new issue view there is not a setting that will permit this.  However you could possible switch back to the old issue view temporary in order to add this link there. This won't work for team managed projects (because all team-managed projects are using the new issue view), but in company managed projects still should still be possible for you to temporarily switch back to the old view. Steps on how to do that are in Temporarily click through to the old issue view.  You can do this by going to the ... menu in the top right of the issue then select the "See the old view" link at the bottom.   Once you click this, it should append the string

?oldIssueView=true

onto the URL of the issue itself. So if the URL when viewing this issue in Jira looked like 

/browse/SCRUM-31

you could try to visit

/browse/SCRUM-31?oldIssueView=true

 

Once you are seeing the old issue view, pasting such links will not automatically convert into a card.
