Prevent users from updating ticket description

How do I prevent users from changing/updating the ticket title and description, once the ticket has been moved to `In Development` Status ?

In other words, I want to only allow the user to change/update the ticket title and description while ticket is in open status, only.

Hi @Zahra Mozhdehi and welcome!

You can edit the workflow(s) of your issue types and place one of the following properties to the transition leading to "In Development"

jira.issue.editable= true/false means, that the issue is/is not editable
jira.permission.edit.group= any_jira_group, meaning that only users belonging to this group are able to edit the issue
jira.permission.edit.projectrole = the_role, meaning that only users with the specified role can edit the issue
