Why are my page layout columns appearing as rows?

Hey everyone! I have tried everything I can think of and searched all over for an answer to this to no avail.

I'm trying to use the Page Layout tool to organize a page, but it keeps creating rows instead of columns. I'm both hopeful and mortified that there's a simple thing I am missing.

Figured it out! Checked in Incognito Mode, and a browser extension is causing this error.

Does this happen if you create a new page, or only when you're editing your current page?

It's happening both on new pages and when editing an existing pages.
