Cannot modify a page properties report macro

Question

Hello !

Symptom:
I want to use the page properties and page properties reports macro but I cannot modify the page properties report settings.

Description:
As a consequence, the page properties report uses the default settings and display the content of ALL pages of the current space, while I would like to display only the content from the child pages.

The "Save" button stays greyed out whatever the filters/options are :

The only thing I can do from there is to "Cancel".

Is there something in particular I should do to be able to modify this page properties report macro ?

The labels are mandatory, and once a label is set in the page properties report macro, you lose the ability to edit the macro.  Not only that, but if you try to create other page properties reports, when you add the macro it defaults to the label you selected the first time you used it in that space.  It does not mirror other settings, only the mandatory label filter.

There does not appear to be any way to edit the macro settings once they are initially set -- unless you go and remove the label that it filters to from every page.  Once that label is removed and the report macro no longer returns any results, THEN you regain the ability to edit the macro settings.

Which means I cannot use the page labels to create a page properties report per label, as I had hoped.  But I did at least figure out how to be able to change the settings... even if it is a great deal of work to do so.

I have a partial solution:

The label here seems mandatory for some reasons.

I can manage from here, but it requires me to add a label (with the known constraints on label names) on each of the child pages.

Could have been added as an optional filter in my opinion, though I do not know the technical constraints behind this behavior.
