Whenever I export a jira filter to excel, the Epic's Issue key shows next to each issue that has it as an epic. However, I am unable to get the export to show the Epic's name instead.
Is there a solution to this?
This seems to be an open ticket being tracked here - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-63305 You will find few workarounds in the comments section of this open ticket.
I agree with @Kishan Sharma and voted for request.
If a table as a PDF document is solving your use case, then our Better PDF Exporter app is exporting the epic name (in the "Epic link" column):
If Excel would be ultimate solution, please email my colleague levente.szabo@midori-global.com as we can invite you to the beta program of a new app that would do that soon.

Hi @Brandon Ousey
f you would be interested in a third party add-on, you can try out Agile Tools. We have csv export option which exports epic names and complete epic hierarchy and progress based on story points and time estimates, as screen shot attached.

And here comes another app suggestion that would do the trick. With JXL https://jxl.app you can simply add an Epic link column to your sheet and export it. Epic links are displayed as issue key and epic name. Hope that helps.
