Different behavior for desktop and mobile app (change issue type)

On desktop version in one project I can change issue type from Story to Task, but can NOT from Task to Store.

In mobile app (Android) I can change the SAME issue in both ways as Story to Task, as Task to Story.

Question 1. How to enable changing issue type from Task to Story on desktop?

Question 2. Why is the behavior different for desktop and app?

If you are seeing a different behavior between platforms then that seems more like a bug than any configuration issue. So if you are sure that you can change an issue from story to task but not vice versa on the desktop but you can do that on an android device then I would reach out to Atlassian support directly and report this. Note, I have never seen this before but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a bug .
