Can't Select Correct Parent Page for Children Display Macro

Question

Hi there,

I am trying to insert the macro "Children Display" and when I search for a particular page, it comes up with options but not the page I am looking for. It lists other spaces, it lists pages with the name included in its title, but I can't seem to get it to display the page I want as an option. I tried inserting the direct link, but that doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I also have the same problem while there are many pages with the same name. Search with the space prefix is also not working

Hi Cate (and other people who might stumble across this issue),

I had the same issue with multiple pages on multiple spaces. In my case, following the steps below 'fixed' the issue:

* Go to the page you want to include in the Children display
* Temporary rename that page
* Go to the children display, delete it and add it again
* The page now suddenly popped up in the 'Parent page' search box of the children display
* Change the renamed page back to the original name
