Automation rule "Set linked issues to done"

Hello Community,

 

I have a simple case:

When a sprint is completed, all existing tickets should be scanned. If one of the existing tickets in the sprint has a linked ticket, this linked ticket should be set to Done.

 

So here is my rule:

 

But the rule not work:

Hi @Sebastian Buck , 

 

as this rule requires to first find all issues in the sprint, and then find all issues linked to those, you will need to create 2 rules. This is because you can't have a branch inside a branch in Automation.

The first rule will add a temporary label to the issues in the sprint that was closed, in order to tag them. 

The second rule will find those tagged issues, close their linked issues and remove the temporary label. 

Please remember to check in the rule details "Allow rule trigger" so that rule 2 can be triggered by rule 1.
