Hi Guys,
Do we have a filter option in table for Confluence similar to what we have in Microsoft Excel.
Is there any option to enable this?
This will be helpful in improving the productivity and depend less on Excel.
Thanks,
Arif B
For other users that come across this thread, there was a prior feature request for this over in CONFCLOUD-39700. However this was closed as Won't Do, which means our team is unlikely to implement this feature. That said there are other solutions in Marketplace that can likely provide this kind of functionality as mentioned in the other answers on this post.
Hi @Arif Banduwale
You need a addon like this:
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/27447/table-filter-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
And look this post
https://docs.stiltsoft.com/display/public/TFAC/How+to+use+Table+Filter+macro
Cheers
Thanks @Vero Rivas for the reference. Is Atlassian looking to add that feature without any addon / plugin in near future?
Hi @Arif Banduwale ,
The Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app mentioned above is our app and it allows you to filter your data, create pivots, perform calculations and visualize your information.
We can suggest booking a live demo for you and your team - we'll be happy to show different use cases as well as easy solutions to them. Please choose a suitable time slot here.
Our app Excellentable allows you to edit excel documents right inside confluence.
Regarding your query about Atlassian, you can check the open tickets here. I don't think there is a working ticket on table filters though.
