How Do I Rename an Image When Attaching It to a Jira?

Hi.  Before the most recent update, I was able to rename an image when attaching it to a Jira using copy/paste.

Is there a way to do that with this most recent update?  Once we add more than two images to a Jira, the lack of clear names is causing a confusion when people need to use them as reference.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

On the new issue view, when pasting an attachment on the ticket, it will upload directly and it will not be possible to rename it before adding it to the ticket. It was possible on the old view.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability on the new view as well:

• In the New Jira Issue View, if an attachment is uploaded directly from the clipboard, Jira won't allow you to name the attachment
