When an EPIC is created in Project A then automation triggers and tasks from Project B are cloned under EPIC in Project A. Automation that I created is below. The tasks are created in Project A but EPIC link populated is that of Project B.
That is correct. The cloning process clones the value in the Epic Link field also. You will have to add an action to change the Epic Link in the newly created issue.
