Customize or change the knowledge base landing page

Is it possible to set a custom landing page for our knowledge base? (the page you go to when you click the logo in the top left)

If not, then can you at least make simple mods to that default page like not having a gigantic blank space at the top if you don't want a banner?

We have our knowledge base articles in Confluence and publish them through Jira.

I've searched everywhere and can't find how to make simple mods (other than color and welcome text). I don't want to install anything.

I can't understand why this is so difficult.

Do you mean the space home page or the site homepage?

It's the Space Homepage. We have it set as described in the link you gave, but when users log in or click the logo they don't go to that page. They go here instead: https://etailpet.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals.

How do I make it where that link as described in the Set up your space homepage article is the actual login landing page for our users?

and if you can't get that to work, then can we at least make that giant blank banner at the top be smaller?
