How do we turn off the blog?

We use Confluence for software documentation only and do not need a blog.

How do we turn off the blog completely including all links?

This does not work for the documentation theme.

There's no one-click solution to turn off the blog for all spaces, however you can

* click 'Configure Sidebar' for a space that you are the administrator of,
* click the '-' icon next to the "Blog" link to hide it, and
* click 'Done'.

This will hide the link to the blog, but it will not remove everything blog-related (e.g. the 'Blog post' content type when clicking 'Create' will remain).
