Create confluence page using macro through API

Hi,

My aim is to create a Confluence page with the details retrieved from JIRA by automation. We can manually create a page in confluence using the JIRA macro available (which will fetch the details from JIRA using JQL query provided). 

But how to create a confluence page using JIRA macro available through Rest API's provided by Atlassian? To be specific, how to access macros through API?

I'm not 100% sure I'm understanding, but it sounds like you want to create a page via automation and include the Jira macro in the page to display links to Jira issues. Is that correct?

If so, I published an article last month about how to do this. You may need to adjust a few details to get the version of the Jira macro you want (my example was the one that displays a single issue, rather than a table of issues), but it should give you a starting point.
