Is there a way to show a schedule bar for releases in advanced roadmaps?

I find the schedule bars for issues to be a great quick visual for when they will start / complete.  However, this does not appear to be available for releases, which are only represented by small dots at the top of the timeline.  The only way to see release schedules on the timeline is to expand them so you can see the schedule bars for issues within the release, but this gets very messy when you have several releases on the same timeline view.  Is there a way to make schedule bars appear for releases, as well?

If your releases have a release date, they are displayed on the roadmap as a big dot:

 

You cannot display them as horizontal bars on the timeline. But if you select those dots and activate the highight on timeline option, they will be marked with a vertical line across your timeline view, so you can clearly see how your issues relate to the target:
