Viewing user's log of activities

Is it possible for an admin to view a log of past activities for a specified user?

I am aware that the admin can view the "last seen" stamp when selecting a user on the "user management" page, but periodically we will need to view what were the activities of the user.

Is there a way to check that?

You can try Issue History. This tool lets you view the full history of changes made by each user in Jira issues.
