JIRA Dashboard - Text gadget's default width too narrow to be useful

Please increase default width of text gadget in JIRA dashboard. Extremely narrow view makes it very difficult to use it as a medium to type , edit or modify test/HTML contents.

Please see attached image explaining the Text Gadget.PNG problem.
