In the issue view, how can I hide/minimize the right-hand pane with the context fields?

Hi there,

 

One of my team members wants to hide, minimize, or otherwise reduce in size the right-hand pane that shows the context fields in the issue view. (Apologies if my terminology is wrong or slightly off. Is it the "context pane"?)

 

Unlike the lift-hand project nav menu, the context pane does not provide an obvious collapse mechanism, and I could not find a configuration option for it.

 

This is a next-gen project.

Hello @[deleted]- I believe what you want to do is convert your issue view for Sidebar to Dialog.  To do this, to go the issue detail in the right-hand pane and click on the three dots.  From there, select "Open issues in dialog".  Moving forward, when you select an issue, it will open all issues in a dialog window (pop-up) and the issue details will no longer appear in a sidebar.
