how to view sprint goal in active sprint and backlog

Question

As we are using both active sprint and backlog sections to view all the tasks. But we are facing issues as we are unable to track Sprint Goal for a particular sprint.

Is there any option in Jira through which our entire team can always view the sprint goal on active sprint and backlog section so that everyone is aware about the progress.

@Mir O_ I have the same issue but it doesnt show the switch on my board. You know why? Its just a field with configure board and create board

Mir O. · Answer

@Manjusha Mohan if the problem is in Jira Cloud go to your board, click on the three dots next to the 'Complete Sprint' button, and enable 'Enhance my board and backlog.' That will allow you to see the sprint goal on your board.

Context: I forgot to set the sprint goal when starting the sprint and had to add it later.
Problem: I could only see the sprint goal in the backlog, not on the board.
Solution: Enable the 'Enhance my board and backlog' switch.

Hope that can help.

I can see the Sprint Goal appearing on the backlog. But it is not visible on the Active Sprint section. Is there any configuration setting to enable this on Active Sprint section?
