How to set a custom field as required?

I have a few custom fields that I want to set as required fields but where and how can I do this?

I would suggest you look to the project field configuration scheme. You can set the fields as required here.

Got it. Fields that are locked by Jira can't be set as required right?

Some fields don't have the option to be set as required, what about those?
