Why do you destroy a tool that was great and replace it with an online version of Word?

Question

I am really not happy that you don't allow me to use "Legacy" style of working in confluence cloud. A cloud where I was forced to go when the server confluence was discontinued.

Why did you replace a perfect working tool with a bad online version of Word?

Hello @Radim Spetlik

Thank you for reaching out.

In order to provide you with the option to use the Old editor for your Confluence application, I created an internal support ticket for you, as it is mentioned in this thread for free plans:

https://getsupport.atlassian.com/browse/JST-639802

We will reach out through this ticket to provide the next steps to properly enable the old editor for you.

Thanks!

It has been escalated.  I believe that over time the new editor will improve.  You are not the only one who has had this concern.

I was so upset about this thing that I made grammar errors in my post and didn't notice.

It would be great if we could use confluence as we know it, not that bad online version of Word.

Although I understand the move from a server to cloud, I don't understand the move from a great documenting utility to a bad Word. All shortcuts missing, the great features that made documenting fun - gone.

Please, do escalate an issue - we would like to have a "normal confluence", not an online Word.

Thanks...
