Hi, I want to clean my backlog and not show the stories that are on status Done. I use a scrum board. Is it possible to do it?
Hi ,
You using Scrum Template right.
If you adding stories into Sprints with particular duration, and closing the sprints on time. Then the DONE status stories will be moved from Backlog & Sprints.
Second Way (Not Suggestable).
Scrum Board --> Board Settings --> General --> Board Filter --> Edit Filter
Project = ABC and issuetype = story and Status != DONE.
You can create a new board for the above process. If you use this all the other issues types like Bugs, Epics, Sub-tasks and other issues type will not shown in Backlog & Active Sprints.
Thanks,
Anvesh
If your Done stories are showing in the dashboard post-sprint closure then that is an error condition. If Done is the status that is in the right-most column of your board then when the “complete sprint” button is executed then the done issues should disappear from the backlog.
Hi, thank you!
I want to hide the Done issues that are in the backlog
Hi, the tasks in the sprint when moved to status Done are being removed from the board once the sprint is completed.
I want to hide stories in status Done that are in the backlog and that weren't added to a sprint.
Hi @Denise Diandre
a short test showed for me that issues that are set to resolved are taken off the backlog. Are you sure you are setting a resolution on the issues?
Please check with the following documentation:https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-issues-need-a-resolution-826873869.html
Please then confirm the issues set to done manually have a valid resolution.
If this also does not help please share the filter of your Scrum board.
Regards,Daniel
