Trigger subscription with Workflow transition

Hi, I am trying to trigger subscription when button in project is clicked (transition). I have managed to get the link of "Run now" button in subsciption but I cant trigger it. Do you have any suggestions on how to do this? So I would need solution to one of these:

1. Trigger subscription with Workflow transition or
2. Trigger (open) link with Workflow transition

Subscriptions are triggered on a schedule, not by receiving events.  I think if you got into the core of Jira's code, you might be able to work out how to trigger one off-schedule and hence put that action behind a button or transition.  But you wouldn't be able to do that on Cloud directly, you would have to write a full app that can scrape Jira for the subscription data and send it itself, not run it in Jira

You can't open links in workflow transitions, they only connect to the UI with the transition screen and error page, which are both hard-coded.
