JQL to exclude few labels from an issue

Question

Hi,

I have issues with multiple labels on them. Example:

Issue 1 has labels - A, B, C

Issue 2 has labels - B, C, D

Issue 3 has labels - E, F, G

I want to create a JQL to shortlist issues with labels - A, D, E, F, G. That means exclud 1 from many labels applied on an issue. Please help. Thanks!

You can't do that with a search, it's nonsense because searches find issues.

If you want to hide the display of a particular label, you will need to look at whatever you are displaying the search results in and see if that has a setting to hide anything.

Ah so for a set of issues, you want a list of all labels from a set of labels that are found on the set of issues?

e.g.

Acceptable labels: ABCDEFG

Issue-1: ABC

issue-2: BCD

issue-3: AFG

Labels found: ABCDFG

You cannot achieve that with JQL.  What you could do is try to find a word cloud plugiin or export to excel and process it there

I tried that but looks like you misunderstood the question. I do not want to exclude issue with a particular label but exclude label out of issues.

If there are 3 labels on an issue, i want to show only 2 labels.
