Hi , I had a project requirement where i am asked to get a list of all the users/people who have access to a project . I went to the People options under project setting but could not see the actual users there , all i saw were few names and going to Permissions under project settings again shows me all the groups which are added to each permission Could someone please suggest me on a way to achieve the list of all the users having access to a project. Hi ,

Please note that several options, like the App Pramodh linked for example, unfortunately only work on Jira on-premise (Server).

Also a common query to the database is something which is not available in Cloud.
A query via REST API could, however, meet the requirement.

hi Pramod and Daniel , I had a look into the Jira Admin portal where we have an option to Export users based on the groups . Exporting users based on the groups has resolved my query . I should have explored the portal more before putting a query here .. anyways , thank you both for your help .

Just to confirm for a better understanding.

I assume you went to User Management >> Users

and there you utilized "Export Users", is this correct?

If so, this gives you back a list of users assigned to their respective groups - together with the information about Roles from UI you can get an insight on who is in which group but the information gathering is split up by two actions (getting users in groups + correlate the groups to roles in UI).
The export files, unfortunately, does not give back, roles (=^ roles in projects).

Hi,
You can find the project access of a user by changing by using 2 ways

Switch to the user and go to the "profile" then "summary" and then on "Project Roles"
Quicker way: jira/secure/admin/ViewUserProjectRoles!default.jspa?name=Username
