Dear Community,

I would like to find all issues in Jira which have changed status from "New" to "To Do" in the last 4 weeks. Unfortunately, the filter gives me all issues which have changes status from new to "to do" then "In Progress" and "done".

Here's my code

project = "XYZ" AND status changed from NEW to "TO DO" AFTER -4w AND component = "XYZ"

Please advise how to limit issues just to receive one status changed from new - to do only?

Hi @Magdalena Migas , I'm not sure I understand your goal. Your JQL looks correct from what I was thinking your goal was so obviously I don't understand. You mention getting issues returned that are currently in states other than "To Do" so maybe you want to only show issues in "To Do"?

project = "XYZ" AND status = "TO DO" AND status changed from NEW to "TO DO" AFTER -4w AND component = "XYZ"

Can you try seeing this result using the control chart?
you would get the time each issue spent in the column, and indirectly obtain the number of issues.!
