Using Filters To Build Jira Reports

Hi Jira Community, I'm trying to utilize filters to build Jira reports. In my Kanban table I have a quick filter that shows only major tasks (i.e. hides minor tasks). I'm trying to do the same when I build reports. For example, I'm trying to build a pie chart report showing number of tasks by assignee. Right now it includes all tasks (major and minor) and I'm trying to only show major tasks. 

 

As you can see below, there's no option to utilize a filter when building a Jira report.

That is functioning as intended. The reports are based on Saved Filters or Projects. A Quick Filter within a board is not a Saved Filter. You would need to create a new Saved Filter that combines the filter of your board and the additional filtering you created in the Quick Filter in the board.
