Just wanted to know if version 8.5.8 is good to continue with from security perspective
8.5 is, as it will keep getting security patches and updates until October 2021 because it is a "long term support" release.
8.5.8 has some security issues, you should upgrade to 8.5.9 - see https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/issues-resolved-in-8-5-9-1027114896.html for the fixes
