Can Jira Core and Jira Software talk to ecah other?

Hello,

We are starting to use Jira Core in our team and IT uses Jira Software. We have an account and they have their own.

We are someties involved in their projects, so we wonder if Core and Software can communicate in any way, share tasks, etc.

Absolutely! You can create application links between instances for more streamlined collaboration. As Core product user you won't have access to Software features, but issues linking should be sufficient for majority of basic collaboration cases.

Note that this will require you to have an account in their Jira, while they would have to have an account in yours. This will may affect the bill, so it is recommended to do the assessment first.
