Create a new issue based on a Form Submission

Question

So, I'm using Jira for Marketing, and I have a column in my board that's for new ideas.

Is there a way to have a form that generates new issues?

Like: form submitted > new issue in "New Ideas" column.

Does Jira have this type of form or maybe in Confluence?

Thanks Alex! I'll try the Issue Collector then.

Hi

Depends how and where do you want to collect your ideas. If it is from Confluence then I can suggest an app we develop and support for building forms - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211860/confiforms-data-forms-workflows?hosting=cloud&tab=overview (lots of customization options, notifications, and much more)

Or Jira issue collector https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/using-the-issue-collector-861253486.html

If you want to have a form on external websites then something like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217327/raley-intake-forms-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview is a good option to consider.

There might be others. Just sharing the ones I know
