createdDate JQL filter not showing all tickets defined in time frame

Hi,

I build an issue filter in Jira to show all issues created in a specific timeframe. In this case it should show me all incident type issues from a "Service Desk" project which were created between 2020-09-01 and 2020-09-30 (including the dates itself).

This is my JQL:

project = SRD and "Request Type" = "Incident (SRD)" and createdDate >= 2020-09-01 and createdDate <= 2020-09-30

It shows 9 issues in total.
Weird thing is that it should be 11 issues in total.
The two issues it is not showing are created on the 2020-09-30 at 4 p.m.

Any ideas why it does not include the two issues?

(btw: How can I add a line of code here? I tried it with the formats of this text box, but it always formats the whole text )

This is the right JQL

created >= 2020-09-01 AND created <= "2020-09-30 23:59"

Reason

Search for issues that were created on, before, or after a particular date (or date range).

Note that if a time-component is not specified, midnight will be assumed.

Please note that the search results will be relative to your configured time zone (which is by default the JIRA server's time zone).

Use one of the following formats:

"yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm"
"yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm"
"yyyy/MM/dd"
"yyyy-MM-dd"

that works! Thanks, could have come up with that myself
But that means that the "<=" and ">=" are not really working, or am I getting it wrong?

To get the issues from September I would have to do this then:

project = SRD and "Request Type" = "Incident (SRD)" and createdDate > 2020-08-31 and createdDate < 2020-10-01

So this seems more like a workaround to me as I would expect the "<=" and ">=" to work differently.

In this case if the ticket was created on 2020-09-30 23:59:01 then it still does not show up in this search
Makes it painful generating daily filters automatically for a specific day
