How to populate custom field given the reporter is found in a specific group?

I have 2 customs fields which need to be auto populated upon creation of an issue. There is a condition, the 2 customs field need to be populated only if the reporter is in a certain group. If the reporter is in another group, the field need not to be populated.

You can make a automation rule and do something with

membersOf() 

in a JQL condition.

membersOf() is a placeholder for all users that are members of the provided group.

Example: reporter in membersOf("developers")
