We've configured a Plan (Advanced Roadmap), we wanted to link all Epics to different Initiatives so we followed these steps (https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapsserver/configuring-initiatives-and-other-hierarchy-levels-802170489.html).
Now we have a project for initiatives (they are company initiatives so it does not make sense to have them in a specific project, so we created a "Company Objectives" project with just the initiatives). All epics from different projects have as a parent link field one initiative.
But, in the advanced roadmap we just see the epics (with "14 issues without parent"). We're not seeing these epics as a part of the initiatives. of course, we've added the initiative level as described in the article and also added the initiative as an issue type for all projects.
