Gantt chart: time period granularity does not change

Question

Hi all,

I am trying to build  a Gantt chart using the default charts macro. It's easy and everything works fine except that the time granularity does not change.

Even if I choose Month or Quarter, I always see the same time scansion and nothing changes.

The "Time Series" option is checked, I have no idea what am I doing wrong.

Can you please assist?

I've tried to do the same thing with the standard Chart macro and got similar results - the Time Period doesn't affect my scale at all.

So I can recommend to try our app (maybe you've already got it for your instance) - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. Wrap your tables in the Chart from Table macro, choose the Gantt Chart and set the required scale step. Here are my screenshots for the same tables:

Scale step = 1 month

Scale step = 3 months

Maybe it will help you with the case.
