Unable to move issues by using drag'n'drop option

Hi there,

I added a workflow to my project which allows ticket transitions to all statuses. 
When I open the ticket detail view I'm able to assign the ticket to any status (b using Workflow dropdown). But when using drag'n'drop I'm unable to move tickets to certain columns. Do you have any clues what may be the reason?

Yes, that would be your problem then.  :-)

You can leave them in the same column and execute transitions through the ticket details, or you can add new columns and separate the statuses - then you can drag and drop.

Hi John,

Your explanation perfectly describes my problem - what I did not mention is that I have multiple (2-3) statuses added to one column. That must be the issue then. Many thanks - I haven't met this problem until now - there always was one status per column but overtook a board today and faced the problem.

Hi @Arkadiusz Niewiadomski it depends on how the statuses are mapped to your columns. There is no coding in the boards that prevent transitions separately from the workflow. So if you can transition it on the card, then you can transition it on the board if the statuses are mapped correctly.

One note - if you have multiple statuses in the same column - you CANNOT drag the card between statuses in that column. You MUST use the ticket detail view for that.
