Can't access the project

Alex Zuiev

Hi there!

Can't figure out what's going on with the project I have. For the last 3 days we can't access to the project in Jira and it shows to us such error:

The issue that I'm able to access to any other project within my organization but not that particular one. In the list of projects it shows to us that this project is active and hasn't been deleted.

Kindly ask you for help.

Hi Alex - Welcome to the the Atlassian Community!

It might be that you do not have Browse Project permission in the Permission Scheme for the project. I would check there first. Also, within the permission scheme there is a Permission Helper button that can help show you why you can't access.

Hi @Alex Zuiev

Let's try to eliminate certain factors here, I would like to know the answers to the below:

Is this project a next-gen project or classic project?
Are you the only user having this issue or everyone?
can you search for an issue using the Issue Navigator search (JQL search) and see if the issue can be displayed there instead?
what was the last changes known to you, that was performed on the project?

With the above we can narrow down the cause.

Hi @Prince Nyeche - ELFAPP !

Sure, check it below:

Classic project
Many of the users within our company
Yes, I can. I'm able to see all of the relevant status and the latest updates for the moment.
No changes were done since I've created and submitted all of the necessary scope of work for that project. Just only the simple developer's routine to move the tickets into the needed bucket.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi @John Funk !

As I can see I'm the admin for that particular project and till now can't figure out what's going on.

Can you give us the exact steps you take and when you get the error?

Prince Nyeche - ELFAPP

Hi @Alex Zuiev

Thanks for the details. now let's try to verify the error, you can do this by navigating to the Board of that project while having your developer tools of your browser (Network tab) open. once the error occurs right click to save the page as a HAR file. Then use this website to read the content of the HAR file. look out for 400, 500, or 503 errors in the responses, then expand the responses to see the JSON payload of the error. That will narrow the error a bit for us to know what is happening. My hunch is that if you're using a Sprint board, it could be a duplicate Sprint preventing the Board from opening. You can verify this by using the same filter and create a new Kanban Board and see if that opens.

Dear @Prince Nyeche - ELFAPP !

Thanks for such detailed answer. So I'm receiving 3 errors such as 500, 403, 409.

Moreover, I've just created a new Kanban Board with the existing data and it solved my current problem, now I can see all of the related tickets, and can edit as usual.

Thank you Sir! Much appreciated.

Regards,

Alex.
