Using Xporter to export Xray Test Steps

Question

Hello,

I want to export manual test steps (Action, Data, Expected Result) using Xporter.

I am using jira Cloud.

The Xporter Store has no templates for this (even though so many people are asking about this!).

I tried creating a template using the below but it produced an empty file.

${Manual Test Steps (Export)|html=true}

I am getting very frustrated with this and none of the documentation i can find can explain how to do this. Please help!

Hi @jean gan

It should work if you are running the template correctly for an Xray Test case. Please double-check if you are running the template in the correct Test case and if the Test case has manual Test Steps.

If everything is ok and still does not work, it is best to contact Xray Support (http://Xraysupport.getXray.app) to share your configuration so that the support team can investigate further.

I have downloaded template from below and uploaded to my JIRA XRAY docu generator. however the section of Manual Test Steps is completely blank.

could you tell me anything else needed to be configured?
