Search all Sub-Taks that have a TASK status containing specified values

Question

I need a query, that I can run, that will show me all sub-tasks that have a parent task in specific statuses.  I am not sure if this is possible or not.  I have done some research, but can't seem to find anything on it.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

you need some third party plugin like JQL Search Extensions for Jira & reports For example on jira sever following query will get all sub tasks where parent issue status is open. issue in subtaskOf("status = open") On jira cloud you can achieve by exexuting following query parentStatus = "In Progress"
