How to avoid list numbers being switched after "Import from WORD"?

Question

Please see the two screenshots attached.

* One is my list in a WORD document. 
* The other is the result after "import from WORD" in Cloud Confluence.

The list numbers have been switched (look the yellow text marks). How can I configure this behavior when I do an import from WORD into Confluence? The last thing I want to do is to change tons of list numberings by hand.

Any hints?

this issue has come up many times over the last 10 years. Some of them have a number of votes but that did not help either.

Hello @Darya Akbari !

As I understand, importing Microsoft Office Word files is not working as expected.

This behavior is a known bug and has been filed here:

* [Confluence Cloud] Numbered list broken on page from Import Word Document

Currently, the best course of action is to vote and watch the report. Voting for the bug helps to increase the bug’s visibility and watching it will keep you up to date with everything posted there.

As of today, there is no workaround other than manually editing the Confluence pages themselves and fixing the lists manually.
