Customize JIRA UI

Surabhi Mishra_m01pfc

Hi,

Our JIRA is self hosted and we need to implement a new customized feature for our JIRA environment. Please suggest some way.

I built a JIRA plugin but Im not able to integrate it with the JIRA environment. Please help in this or if there is any other way.

Thanks.

Hello @Surabhi Mishra

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

As mentioned in our developer documentation, you must configure modules to properly integrate your created plugin with Jira:

About JIRA modules

Modules are used to create interactions between your plugin and Jira application, displaying the extended functionalities included in your plugin in your Jira UI/Background.

Please, take a look at the documentation above to know how it works. If you need further instructions to create your modules, we suggest reaching out to our specialized forum for development questions:

https://community.developer.atlassian.com/

The mentioned portal was specifically created for development questions, where you will find articles and suggestions from other third-party partners and Atlassian developers. Feel free to open a new topic about your question there.

Additionally, there are some "ready to use" plugins in our Atlassian Marketplace that might provide the customized feature you are looking for. If you would like to consider this option, please provide us with the exact customization you are looking for so we can suggest some plugins that might work for your needs.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
