Epic Name vs Epic Link

Question

I can't figure out how to use automation with Epic Link. I only see Epic Name for the options and it isn't working.

This can be done using Advanced Compare conditions - utilising Epic Name I find works best.

To do this:

* Go to your rule and select your existing condition
* Click the "delete component" bin icon next to the condition's name
* Add the condition Advanced Compare Condition
* In "First Value", enter {{issue.epic.Epic Name}}
* In "Condition", select Contains
* In "Second Value", enter "Front"
* Once complete, publish the changes to your rule

^ Tested this in our instance and it appeared to work fine :) . You could use {{issue.epic.Summary}} if you prefer.
