how to adjust column width with markdown

We have requirement to publish markdown with tables on confluence page. We are using rest API to publish markdown.  I am able to publish table, but table column width is blank. It is not looking too impressing.  Please find below markdown syntax and published images. I am using <ac:structured-macro ac:name="markdown"> to publish markdown with Rest API.

Could you please suggest any approach to adjust column width with markdown? Or how can we configure table with Markdown?

It will be highly appreciated for any clue. Please let me know for any input.

Markdown Syntax - 

| Tables | Are | Cool |
| ------------- |:-------------:| -----:|
| col 3 is | right-aligned | $1600 |
| col 2 is | centered | $12 |
| zebra stripes | are neat | $1 |

Hello @Abhishek Kumar !

As I understand, you need to create tables via REST API using Markdown and then control the width of the columns themselves.

You should be able to do so by using an HTML block within the markdown. Here is some explanation about this element from the Markdown documentation page:
