How to set selectable values in a selection custom field via jira automation?

Hi there

How can I set selectable values in a selection custom field via automation?

My scenario:

I want to set selectable values in a "selection custom field" via automation. The selectable values come from an incoming webhook.

Is this possible? Which action should I select? Edit Issue or Edit Entity Properties?

Hi Patrick,

For custom fields, I believe you would need to use JSON to edit multiple value fields.  Please take a look at this page and search on "multiple" to see the examples:

Yes, I know the smart values. But how do you can set selectable values in a selection custom field with smart values?
