there isn't specific Assembla importer that I am aware of. I would recommend for you to look into the CSV importer described here:

I've struggled with this problem for quite some time and believe that my solution is pretty good.
Github link is broken as it trying to get to it from the Atlassian marketplace. Is this plugin still available?
